Car detailing & valeting · Built for the trade

Web design for car detailers and valeters, from £395

You already do work people would book on sight. The problem is that the only people who see it are the ones who already follow you.

We build detailing sites that load fast on a phone, put the before and after first, and turn a nine-message DM into one booking. Two of our live clients are detailers, and you can go and look at both of them.

The honest version

Detailing sells on proof, and proof is hard to show in a DM

Nobody books a detail because of a paragraph. They book because they saw a car in the same state as theirs go from awful to genuinely impressive, and they believed the photos. Everything else on a detailing website is admin around that one job.

The problem is that the place most detailers keep their proof is a social feed, where it is buried under stories, out of order, and invisible to anyone who has not already found you. Meanwhile the person who has just scuffed a door or is selling a car on Thursday opens Google, types detailing plus their town, and picks from what comes back. If you are not there you are not in the running, no matter how good the work is.

So a detailing site has one main job and three supporting ones. The main job is to show finished work fast, on a phone, without a single slow image. The supporting jobs are to say what you charge, say where you cover, and make booking take one tap instead of nine messages.

What we build

What actually goes on a detailing website

Not a brochure. The five things that decide whether a visitor becomes a booking.

A gallery that loads instantly

Before and after pairs, grouped by the job they belong to, every image compressed and sized properly. A detailing gallery is the heaviest part of the site and the part people came for, so it gets the most engineering attention.

Booking that fits how you work

Some detailers want a form with a date and a car model. Some want a WhatsApp button because that is where the conversation was always going to end up. We build whichever one you will actually answer.

A service area you can defend

Mobile detailers lose money driving. The site states the radius plainly, and we write the pages so you rank in the towns you want to be in rather than the ones you do not.

Tap to call above the fold

Half of detailing enquiries are a phone call from somebody standing next to the car. The number is a button at the top of every page, not buried on a contact page.

Prices that filter the time wasters

From-prices for each service and a straight line about what changes them. You stop fielding messages from people who wanted a fifteen pound wash.

Somewhere to put your reviews

Real reviews, pulled from the places customers actually leave them, shown as the customer wrote them. We never invent one and we never print an average score on a site.

Proof

Two detailing businesses we actually build for

Fair question on a page like this. Here are the live ones, names and domains, so you can check them yourself.

Rinse Revive

A detailing business whose work was far better than its online presence. The site leads on the reel and the finished cars, with the booking route on every screen, and it is on a monthly care plan so the work that goes up stays current.

Live at rinserevive.co.uk. We wrote the job up: read the Rinse Revive case study.

M&M Detailing

Same trade, a different shape of business, and so a different site. Built around the services and the gallery, on a care plan since July 2026, which means the photos and the service list move when the business does.

Live at mmdetailing.uk. Write-up here: read the M&M Detailing case study.

Both of those are live client sites on their own domains, not mock-ups. Our work page names every live client and labels every concept build as a concept, so you can tell at a glance which is which.

How it works

You see your own site before you pay anything

We do not ask you to trust a portfolio of somebody else's cars. Tell us the business, send us a handful of your own photos, and within 48 hours you get a link to a real working site built for your detailing business, on your phone, with your work on it.

If it is not right, you say so and you owe nothing. There is no card, no deposit and no call you have to sit through first. If you want it, a starter build is £395 and a bigger one with more services and more pages is £650. You own it either way.

After that a care plan is optional. £45 a month keeps the site right and looked after. £85 adds the work that gets you found, and £150 is for when you want it pushed harder. No minimum term on any of them, because a detailer's year is not flat and we would rather you could stop.

Straight talk

When you should not bother with us

If you are fully booked six weeks out on word of mouth and you do not want more work, a website is a vanity purchase and we will tell you that on the phone. If you want a site you can rebuild yourself every fortnight, a builder like Squarespace is genuinely a better fit than paying us. And if what you actually need is a Google Business Profile rather than a website, we will set that up as part of the build rather than pretend it is the small part of the job.

What we are good for is the detailer who is doing excellent work, getting it in front of the same few hundred people on social, and wants to be the one who comes up when somebody in their area searches.

Questions

What detailers actually ask us

I get all my bookings through Instagram already. Why do I need a site?

Because Instagram decides who sees you and a website does not. A detailer we work with was getting steady work off Instagram and still had nobody finding him on Google, which is where somebody who has just kerbed their alloys or is selling a car next week actually looks. The site is not there to replace the feed, it is there to catch the people who never see the feed. It also gives you somewhere to put prices, a service area and a booking form, which turns a conversation that used to take nine messages into one enquiry that arrives already answered.

Should the site show my prices?

For detailing, usually yes, with a range rather than one number. The commonest reason a detailer loses an hour is a message from someone who wanted a fifteen pound wash. A stage two correction starting from a stated figure filters that out before it costs you anything. Where it gets harder is paint correction and ceramic, because the price genuinely depends on the car and its condition. We handle that with a from-price plus a short honest line about what moves it, which is more convincing than hiding the number entirely.

My work is all photos. Will they slow the site down?

They would if we uploaded them the way your phone saves them. A detailing gallery is the heaviest thing on the site by a distance, so every image gets converted to modern formats, resized for the size it actually appears at, and loaded only when it scrolls into view. The point of that work is not a score in a speed tool. It is that a customer on four bars of signal outside a car park sees your before and after instead of a grey rectangle.

I am mobile, I do not have a unit. Does that change anything?

It changes the whole structure. A mobile detailer sells a radius, so the site has to answer where do you come to and what do you need from me before you arrive, which means a clear service area and a line about power and water. A unit sells a place, so it needs the address, the parking situation and opening times on the first screen. Same trade, two different sites. We ask which one you are before we design anything.

What happens in winter when it goes quiet?

That is the season to sell interiors, ceramic maintenance and pre-sale preparation, and it is the reason a site that can be edited matters. On a care plan we change what the homepage pushes when your demand changes, rather than leaving a summer banner up in January. If you would rather do that yourself we will show you how, and you keep the site either way.
