Web design for cleaning companies, from £395
Professional, reliable, trustworthy, fully insured. Every cleaning site in the country says it, so none of it counts any more.
We build cleaning sites around the specifics a customer is actually weighing: employed or subcontracted, same cleaner or not, cover as a number, what happens if something breaks. One of our live clients is a cleaning company.
Everyone in your trade uses the same six adjectives
Open ten cleaning company websites and nine of them say professional, reliable, trustworthy, fully insured, attention to detail and competitive rates. They are all claiming the same things in the same words, which means none of the claims are doing any work. The customer reads all ten, learns nothing that separates them, and picks on price or on whoever answers the phone first.
The way out is not better adjectives, it is specifics. Employed or subcontracted. Same cleaner every week or whoever is free. DBS checked or not. Cover level as a number. What happens when something gets broken. Whether you bring your own products and whether they are safe around pets. None of those are impressive sounding, and every one of them is the sort of thing a customer is actually weighing up.
A cleaning site that answers six specific questions beats a cleaning site with better photography and nothing to say, every single time.
What goes on a cleaning company website
Built around the two very different customers you have.
Domestic, priced and explained
Regular cleans, deep cleans, one-offs. What it costs, how often, and whether it is the same person each time.
Commercial, on its own terms
Offices, lettings, communal areas. Out of hours, cover levels, account invoicing. Written for a facilities manager, not a homeowner.
End of tenancy as its own page
Urgent, deadline-driven and searched for by name. Including what happens if the agent is not satisfied.
The trust questions, answered
Employed or subcontracted, DBS checks, public liability as a number, breakages policy. Specifics instead of adjectives.
Booking that suits the job
A regular clean wants a simple enquiry. An end of tenancy wants a date and a property size straight away.
Long-standing customers, quoted
For regular cleaning, three years with the same client is better proof than any photograph. We never print an average score.
Pure Luxe Cleaning
A cleaning company we build for, live on its own domain.
Pure Luxe Cleaning
Live at pureluxecleaning.uk, built by us and carrying our footer link. They took the build and run it themselves rather than taking a monthly plan, which is a completely normal outcome and one we are happy to say out loud on a sales page.
We would rather tell you that than imply every client needs us forever. See all of our live clients.
Cleaning is won on the map, not the homepage
Cleaner near me, end of tenancy cleaning plus a town, office cleaning plus a town. These searches are dominated by the map results, which means your Google Business Profile is doing more for you than your homepage is, and most cleaning firms have never properly filled theirs in.
We set it up as part of a build: correct primary category, the service areas you genuinely cover, opening hours that match reality, and photographs. Then the website's job is to be the thing that convinces somebody who has clicked through from the map, which is why it needs the specifics rather than the adjectives.
Reviews matter here more than in most trades, because a cleaning customer is letting somebody into an empty house. Asking every happy customer for one, consistently, is worth more than any amount of website work, and we will help you build the habit rather than pretending the site alone will fix it.
Built first, then you decide
Tell us about the business and within 48 hours you get a link to a real working cleaning site built for it. If it is not right, say so and you owe us nothing. No card, no deposit, no call to sit through.
A site that covers your services properly with a good enquiry route is £395. £650 buys the version that splits domestic and commercial with the depth to rank for both. £1,200 is for a larger operation that needs booking and scheduling built in. You own the site either way.
Care plans start at £45 a month, have no minimum term, and are optional. Pure Luxe do not have one. We are not going to pretend that is unusual.
What cleaning companies ask us
Domestic and commercial cleaning are different businesses. How does one site do both?
By admitting they are different and building two routes. A homeowner wants to know what it costs, whether the same person comes each week, and whether you are insured and police checked. An office manager wants to know whether you can do out of hours, whether you carry the right cover for their building, and whether you can invoice on account. Those are not the same page. Most cleaning sites write for the homeowner and then wonder why commercial enquiries never come.
Should I show my hourly rate?
Show something, even if it is not an hourly rate. Cleaning is a trade where customers assume the price is either fifteen pounds an hour or a mystery, and both assumptions cost you. A stated minimum, a typical weekly figure for a three bedroom house, or a from-price on an end of tenancy clean will filter out the people who were never going to book and reassure the ones who were. If your pricing genuinely depends on a look round, say that and say what the look round involves.
How do I prove my cleaners are trustworthy?
With the specific things, not the adjectives. Every cleaning site in the country says reliable and trustworthy, so those words now carry no weight at all. What carries weight is whether your cleaners are employed or subcontracted, whether they are DBS checked, whether the same person comes each visit, what your public liability cover is as a number, and what happens if something gets broken. Answer those five and you have said more than a page of warm description.
End of tenancy work is most of my income. Does that need its own page?
Absolutely, because it is a completely different purchase. End of tenancy is urgent, deadline-driven, bought by somebody who wants a deposit back or a property relet, and it is usually searched for with those exact words. It also has a specific worry attached, which is whether the clean will pass the agent's inspection. A page that addresses that directly, including whether you return if the agent is not happy, converts far better than a bullet point on a services list.
Do I need before and after photos for cleaning?
For deep cleans, ovens, carpets and end of tenancy, yes, they are extremely persuasive. For regular domestic cleaning they are much less useful, because a tidy kitchen does not photograph as an achievement. Regular cleaning is sold on consistency and trust rather than transformation, so the equivalent proof is a long-standing customer saying the same person has come every Tuesday for three years.
Towns with a page of their own
We are a Southampton studio and we work wherever the job is. These towns have a page of their own on what the local market looks like and who you are up against.
Other trades, and four plain guides
Each trade has a page of its own. The guides cover what a site costs, how a directory listing compares, your Google listing, and paying in parts.
