Web design for dog groomers, from £395
You are not selling a haircut. You are selling being trusted with something the customer loves and cannot ask how it went.
That makes the first booking the hard part and every one after it easy. We build grooming sites that close the first one: calm dogs in the photographs, prices by size and coat, and nervous dogs addressed properly.
You are not selling a haircut, you are selling being trusted with somebody's dog
Dog grooming looks like a simple service business and is not. The customer is not the one being groomed, they cannot ask their dog how it went, and a bad experience is not a bad haircut, it is guilt. That makes the buying decision far more emotional than the price would suggest, and far more dependent on the impression you give before they ever meet you.
It also makes it unusually loyal. A groomer a dog is calm with does not get swapped for one five pounds cheaper. The difficulty is only ever getting that first booking from somebody who has never met you, which is exactly the gap a website closes: photographs of dogs who are plainly relaxed, plain prices, a clear explanation of how you handle nervous animals, and other owners saying their dog is happy to walk in.
Most groomers already have all of that. It is just sitting on Facebook where nobody searching can find it.
What we would put on a dog groomer's site
Built for an owner deciding whether to trust you with something they love.
Photographs of calm, happy dogs
Not just neat finishes. A dog visibly relaxed on the table sells better than any sentence about gentle handling.
Prices by size and coat
A table, plus an honest note that matting costs more. Answers the how much for my dog message before it is sent.
Nervous and difficult dogs, addressed
What you will take, what you will not, and what you need to be told in advance. Protects you and reassures the owners nobody else will take.
Booking and rebooking on a cycle
A dog groomed every eight weeks is recurring revenue. Reminders and easy rebooking are worth real money over a year.
A waiting list that fills cancellations
A dropped Tuesday becomes a filled Tuesday instead of lost income.
Owners in their own words
That their dog is happy to walk in is the single most persuasive thing on the page. We never print an average score.
No grooming clients, so here is the honest nearest thing
Appointment-based local businesses we have live, on their own domains.
Rinse Revive
Live at rinserevive.co.uk. Booked by appointment, sold on before and after photographs, dependent on customers coming back. The nearest thing we have to your shape of business.
Professor Personal Training
Live at professorpt.com. Recurring appointments, a local client base, and a business where the relationship matters more than the price.
Live since July 2026.
Neither is a groomer and we will not claim otherwise. Our work page names every live client and labels every concept as a concept.
This one is almost entirely local
Dog groomer near me, plus breed-specific searches like cockapoo groomer and poodle grooming with a town attached. That is nearly all of it, and it is decided in the map results more than anywhere else, which means your Google Business Profile matters more than your homepage does.
We set the profile up properly as part of a build, and the breed-specific angle is worth taking seriously. Owners of high maintenance coats search by breed because they have learned that not every groomer is comfortable with them, and a page that says plainly that you are experienced with a particular coat type will pull in exactly those customers, who tend to be the most loyal and the least price sensitive you will ever have.
See it before you pay anything
Send us your business name and some photographs of dogs you have groomed. Within 48 hours you get a link to a real working site. If it is not right, say so and you owe nothing. No card and no sales call.
A site with your prices, your photographs and an enquiry route is £395, which is all most groomers need. £650 adds proper booking and breed pages. £1,200 is for a salon with multiple groomers and real scheduling. You own it either way.
Care plans start at £45 a month, no minimum term, entirely optional.
What dog groomers ask us
I am booked solid for months. Why would I want a website?
Because a full diary is not the same as a good diary. Being booked out means you can stop taking the jobs you like least, raise your prices, and build a waiting list that lets you fill a cancellation in ten minutes instead of losing the slot. A site that states your prices, your breeds and your availability does all three. Plenty of groomers who are full are full of work they would not choose, at prices they set three years ago.
Should I list prices when every dog is different?
Price by size and coat, which is how you actually think about it anyway, and say that a matted coat or a difficult dog costs more. Groomers lose an enormous amount of time to messages asking how much for my dog, and the answer is always it depends, followed by a conversation. A table by size with an honest note about condition answers nine out of ten of those before they are sent, and sets the expectation that matting costs extra before the dog is on the table.
How do I handle aggressive or anxious dogs on the site?
Say what you will and will not take, in advance and without apology. Groomers get hurt, and the single most common cause is a dog whose owner did not mention a history. A short, calm section asking owners to tell you beforehand, explaining that you may need longer or a different approach, and stating what you cannot accept, protects you and also reads as extremely professional to the owners of nervous dogs, who are used to being turned away at the door.
Is online booking worth it for grooming?
Usually yes, more than in most trades, because your customers are on a cycle. A dog groomed every eight weeks is a recurring appointment, and a system that lets somebody rebook without a conversation, and that reminds them when they are due, is worth real money over a year. The other half of it is cancellations. A waiting list that can be notified automatically turns a dropped Tuesday slot from lost income into a filled one.
Do you have grooming clients?
No. We have not built for a dog groomer, and we are not going to put a stock photograph of a spaniel on this page and let you assume we have. The closest genuine thing we can show you is a detailing business and a personal training business, both live on their own domains: appointment-based, local, sold on photographs of before and after, and dependent on a customer coming back on a cycle. Both are linked below.
Towns with a page of their own
We are a Southampton studio and we work wherever the job is. These towns have a page of their own on what the local market looks like and who you are up against.
Other trades, and four plain guides
Each trade has a page of its own. The guides cover what a site costs, how a directory listing compares, your Google listing, and paying in parts.
