Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all work carried out by SH Studios, the trading name of SH Studios Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17354895), for clients. For any questions, contact hello@shstudios.uk.
1. The Work
We will design and build the website as outlined in the proposal sent to you. Anything not listed in the proposal is outside scope and will be quoted separately.
2. Free Preview
We offer a free preview before any payment is due. Once you approve the preview and confirm you wish to proceed, the build fee becomes payable.
3. Payment
- The build fee is due on receipt of the invoice. Please use the invoice number as the payment reference.
- If we have agreed to split the build into three payments, the same total price applies. Nothing is added for paying that way, and we agree the dates with you in writing before any work is invoiced.
- The monthly care plan is billed in advance from the date the site goes live.
- Sites may be taken offline if an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after it was sent.
- We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
4. Revisions
Up to 3 rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions beyond this are quoted and agreed before the work starts.
5. Content & Materials
You are responsible for supplying all content needed to build the site. Any content you provide must be owned by or licensed to you, we accept no liability for copyright infringement arising from materials you supply.
6. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, you own the final website and its content.
- We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
- Third-party tools, fonts, and frameworks remain subject to their own licences.
7. Care Plan & Ongoing Services
Care plans are monthly and there is no minimum term. Every plan keeps your site live and hosted, watches your domain renewal and uptime, makes the changes you ask for, and keeps your Google listing accurate. The higher plans add the work that goes into getting you found and keeping you found. What your plan includes is set out on the care plan page, and that page is the one that applies. You can cancel any time, in one message (email or WhatsApp); the plan ends at the end of the current billed month and nothing further is charged. On cancellation we will provide all site files so you can host elsewhere.
8. Liability
We cannot guarantee specific results such as search rankings or leads. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid to us in the 3 months prior to any claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
9. Confidentiality
We will not share your business information or project details with third parties without your consent.
10. Cancellation
- If it is not for you after seeing the preview, you owe nothing and we take the link down.
- Ongoing care plan, cancel any time in one message (email or WhatsApp); the plan ends at the end of the current billed month and nothing further is charged.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
