Online shops for Romsey
A shop is a different animal to a brochure site, so we quote it on the job. What does not change is that you see it before you pay for it.
Below is the shop side only. For the trades we work with in Romsey and the nearest live client we can name, read Web Design in Romsey.
Who we build shops for in Romsey
Independent shops and makers
The Hundred and Bell Street still run on independents, and a lot of them now sell more online than they do over the counter. If you are one of them and you are paying a platform a monthly fee plus a slice of every order, that is worth a conversation. Shops are quoted on the job, not off a list.
More on this: websites for shops.
A shop that loads fast and takes the money cleanly
Shops and web apps are the one thing we will not put a fixed price on, because the job changes completely depending on what you sell.
- Product schema so your items can show up properly in Google
- Product pages that load fast on a phone, because that is where people buy
- A checkout with no surprise steps, because that is where carts get abandoned
- The shop working on your own phone before you pay for it
- No percentage of your sales going to us, on any order
- Card payments through Stripe, straight into your account
Ecommerce Development in Romsey: two questions we get asked
Why will you not put a price on a shop?
Because ten products with one size is a different job to four hundred with variants, trade pricing and a courier integration. Our builds are £395, £650 and £1,200 and a shop does not fit any of them honestly, so we look at what you sell and give you a number.
What does it cost to run every month?
Stripe take their cut per transaction and that is between you and them. From us it is a care plan, £45, £85 or £150 a month depending on how much you want us doing. There is no percentage of your sales going anywhere.
